Discovery Wharf at MCCF

Located right over Stonington Harbor, this is an interactive center that makes you feel like you’re part of a working waterfront. It’s focused on the Gulf of Maine ecosystem and the fishing communities that depend on it. You’ll find a marine touch tank filled with local species, virtual reality exhibits that put you on a lobster boat, and even a 18-foot replica of a lobster boat for kids to explore. The atmosphere is very welcoming and community-oriented, with seasoned guides often available to tell stories about life at sea.
